Bus tours in Berlin
Berlin offers a wide range of sightseeing tours. Here, you will not only find a diversity of routes, but also buses in all kinds of shapes and colours. Very popular are the convertible double-decker buses, which are seen everywhere throughout the city. Depending on which theme is offered the buses are decorated, so don't be surprised, if you spot a zebra pattern on the bus. You can also see historical looking vehicles to bring back memories of days gone by.
We highly recommended the City Circle Tour. Like a regular bus service, it runs every 10 minutes to the main attractions of the city and operates as a hop on - hop off. At 20 stops, passengers can get off look at the surroundings and continue with the next bus. En-route you will be able to listen to all the necessary information about what you can see, in 13 languages.
If you have time to spare, join a tour from Berlin to Potsdam and the Spreewald, a biosphere reserve. More information can be found here.
You can get all tickets directly at the hotel reception. The next stops for the City Circle Tour are Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. Both can be reached comfortably from the hotel within walking distance.
If you think getting around by bus is not enough adventure, then we can recommend slightly more unusual city tours. Rickshaws and bicycle taxis, which offer simple transportation around the city during the summer months. Alternatively, join in guided tours on foot, by bicycle or the increasingly popular Segways.
